Contradictions
Accountability begins where stories stop matching.
When accounts differ, the questions are direct: what exactly is being claimed, what supports that claim, and could the difference affect the outcome?
A discrepancy is a reason to examine the evidence carefully. By itself, it does not establish dishonesty. A meaningful response explains whether the difference is material and how it was resolved.
An account does not become accurate because it is repeated, confidently stated or given by someone with professional authority.
Scrutiny should apply to every material account, including the accounts provided by hospital management.
